Hi, I called Grace today and she answered the phone for the first time in the past 3 calls; prior to today her husband took the calls as Grace was either in hospital or just home from hospital. Today she has been just home from hospital now for 2 days and the doctors

I leave for the doctor's office in a few minutes. Routine visit. Just a couple of odd things to discuss with him but overall I'm doing pretty darn good. Well, I guess we'll find out how I'm really doing when he's done with me. LOL

Over the last few weeks I have occasionally had a fairly severe pain in my tongue. It is deep muscular pain and feels like it is at the root of my tongue. It comes on suddenly and stays for a few minutes then goes away. What might be causing this?

There's a new pain killer (PK) that's evidently just been cleared in the past few weeks by the FDA. It's called Prialt and is manufactured by Elan. It's supposedly a non-narcotic (not an opiate) PK and does not have the side effects (or withdrawls when discontinued) as what we are ...
