if your ear felt like it was stuffed with cotton but you had no other

I suppose, if I was really rational about it, I'd go in tomorrow.
but I'm not.

Hi, I called Grace today and she answered the phone for the first time in
the past 3 calls; prior to today her husband took the calls as Grace was
either in hospital or just home from hospital.
Today she has been just home from hospital now for 2 days and the doctors

I leave for the doctor's office in a few minutes. Routine visit. Just a
couple of odd things to discuss with him but overall I'm doing pretty darn
good. Well, I guess we'll find out how I'm really doing when he's done with
me. LOL

pain in tongue08 Feb 2005 14:56 GMT3
Over the last few weeks I have occasionally had a fairly severe pain in my
tongue. It is deep muscular pain and feels like it is at the root of my
tongue. It comes on suddenly and stays for a few minutes then goes away.

Has anybody heard about the new n pain killer "Primalt"08 Feb 2005 02:32 GMT21
There's a new pain killer (PK) that's evidently just been cleared in the
past few weeks by the FDA. It's called Prialt and is manufactured by Elan.
It's supposedly a non-narcotic (not an opiate) PK and does not have the side
effects (or withdrawls when discontinued) as what we are ...
Red face, increase nervousness, anyone else?08 Feb 2005 01:22 GMT9
Hello, for the past year I have noticed I am becoming increasingly
reserved and nervous and shy. I am wondering if this is part of LUPUS.
At times it is much worse than others for no particular reason at all.
At times when someone unexpectedly walks into the room or looks at me

Just when I thought things were getting better I ended up in hospital;

lower rib and back, very painful to breath).I just thought my pleurisy was
back with a vengeance.Went to the emergency docs on my way ...
CGT: small  accomplishment for Friday night07 Feb 2005 06:32 GMT19
I cleaned out the refrigerator. Okay it's not much but I dumped an entire
trash bag full of icky stuff. Most of it was expired stuff. Some was just
blue food. (Anyone remember George Carlin doing his routine on blue food?)
When it says use within 8 weeks of opening and I can't ...
Allergens and tonsils?01 Feb 2005 16:53 GMT17
A little over a week ago I started packing up books (we plan to move soon.)
lots of dust and who-knows-what.  That evening I had a white spot on my
right tonsil.  Thought I was fighting off a bug and got nervous about that
but it didn't hurt.  Just felt like i had a grain of sand ...
Artist donating to Lupus needs your photos for illustrations01 Feb 2005 16:32 GMT7
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus with little
prior knowledge of the disease. Unfortunately it is a disease that few
people know a whole lot about.
Therefore I would like to be part of anything that will add awareness.
