I agree with J that it has been very very quiet out there. I too hope it
means that many are on vacations and not feeling lousy and too sick to post.
I had a question for everyone concerning pain management. I need some ideas.
always clogged ears?14 Aug 2004 11:02 GMT31
Anyone else deal with this?  I constantly feel pressure on my eardrums.

something and one ear or the other opens up and I get a very brief
experience of what my hearing used to be.  it quickly shuts off again.  no

He and Kip and kids are just not home a whole lot in the summertime,

So he's not spending as much time on computer these days.

I've been wanting to tell my boss (and friend) I don't want to work anymore.
So today things just fell into place. She called and asked if I'd come talk
to her for a while. So down I went. She wanted to know how I felt about
working with the way I feel and how many hours I wanted to ...

Mouth sores11 Aug 2004 19:06 GMT1
Another (maybe) tip about this
Gargle with (don't swallow) Maalox as needed.  It coats the sores
and makes it feel better.
(YMMV - since the sores might be different)
mri/update!11 Aug 2004 05:20 GMT15
Dear friends:
Today, I saw my oncologist. And as that very educated expensive doctor
regarded me across the room, he said: "It seems like you have a cold."
Somehow, it struck me as rather funny.
what can I expect?08 Aug 2004 01:36 GMT3
Hi everyone. My mother who has had arthritis in her hands for several years
has been recently having an itchy rash on her hands as well. She went to the
doctor who did some blood testing and said her lupus count was high and has
referred her to a bone specialist. If it is indeed ...
re Shingles postherpetic neuralgia (very long)07 Aug 2004 16:10 GMT5
Hi J,
I couldn't get my mind around snip, so I went this way. Tearing and searing
pain pretty much describes what I am experiencing. The anti-seizure drugs
don't seem to be working yet. The Tylenol #3 was totally useless, so I gave
achalasia - does diet matter?07 Aug 2004 00:47 GMT4
My father (73) suffers from achalasia and has had a number of small
ops to widen his "tubes". These ops are becoming more frequent and
painful and he wonders if anyone has found a diet that helps ease the
symptoms.
