I want to thank all of you who sent me love and well-wishes while I was feeling so sick. With prednisone increased temporarily to 15 (from 9) I definitely have more energy... and the joint pain? It seems to be taking a while longer to resolve.

For some of you who may, from time to time, need a wig and if finances are difficult, this might be a way to get insurance or other financial carriers (medicaid, medicare etc) to pay for it. The difference is in the "name".

I have to tell you of my experience today. Went to see Ear, nose throat doc who treats my TMJ as well as dry mouth and sinus. My sore in my mouth are a little more toned down but the back of my throat felt swollen and sore. Making me cough and gag a little more than

I finally heard from my rheumie today. The plan is this: To increase my prednisone dosage from 9mg up to 15mg for two weeks and then decrease back down to 10mg thereafter. If we can't get the symptoms abated with this, then he will put me back on Methotrexate. Well. It is good ...
