Hoping for some direction.........04 May 2004 12:48 GMT4
I was hoping that this group might be able to point me in the right
direction with regards to information regarding stem cell transplants. I
know that there have been some experimental and successful treatments in
this area. I have a good friend, that while she does not have lupus, ...

Thinking about posting :-)))03 May 2004 13:43 GMT11
I have been browsing here off and on for several months when reading on the
diabetic support group is low.  It's usually when I cannot sleep.  NOT to
mean you all are not *worthy* reading, I just shrink from adding more
support groups.
asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia02 May 2004 22:54 GMT5
Sounds like I'm a basket case, but I'm not so bad. Still, I wondered
if other lupies have had this combination from getting run down, and
if there might be a connection to lupus, or if I just let myself get
very run down.

Lupus?I'm unsure what is causing my weight drop. Also I'm having memory
slowness or some loss also. I have had for 2 years in a row Pyelonephritis.
Thanks.
Wes - Alport's01 May 2004 23:53 GMT9
Law and Order had someone on who had Alport's and couldn't find a donor
match for a kidney.
She apparently was deaf and they said that comes with it?
Anyways, I was thinking of you and hope you're doing okay with the move.

a long winter here in the North East (to say the least) so of course I have
had the regular aches and pains. . . but I have been trying to decreas my
Pred for about 4 months. . . 2 times I have gotten down ...
Walkers! walkers! Yay, yay, yay!01 May 2004 01:46 GMT2
Can you sort of catch the enthusiasm in my subject line?  Pigmet made me do
it.  In the previous "walkers" thread, Pigmet and I were trying to decide on
a type of walker, and we were being told that Medi-CAL would not pay for
anything near like what I wanted.
