Yay! I fixed my computer!10 Apr 2004 11:55 GMT1
After all the baliwick over my "computer malfunction," and how angry I was
when I found out after I got it home that it had not been fixed by the
techs,  I first had a good ol' fashioned panic attack, and then set in this
morning to try to find the cause.  And I did.  Yay!  I was ...
Heart trouble & stress.10 Apr 2004 11:04 GMT15
I went to Transplant clinic on Tuesday, where it was confirmed that I
did indeed have a small droop on the right side of my face.  A small
strke?  Probably something, I forget the name, between a TIA and a
*frank* stroke.  There is some damage, but hopefully it will be
Nicole's swelling10 Apr 2004 07:41 GMT5
Finally got into the dr.  I know, I know.  =)
She said it was most likely from the up and down weather and the high doses
of opioids I use.
Said if I was having kidney problems, most likely, I would have other signs
Mouth sores10 Apr 2004 02:06 GMT11
I know people have asked this question before -- but I am blanking on the
answers to the question. What have you all found effective for dealing with
painful mouth sores? I used to just get them on the inside of my cheeks --
now I have them on the roof of my mouth -- and it ...
The blood work/ Imuran question09 Apr 2004 23:38 GMT3
I saw my doctor today. We had a long discussion about my last blood test.
You may recall that the wbc/rbc was normal for the first time in years. This
begged the question, "Should I go off the Imuran?" The doctor's view is
this. Stay on the Imuran until I get three good blood tests ...

Strange update07 Apr 2004 07:52 GMT15
Ok, I now have a pin in my hand. Yep- it's just like a miniature tack with a
Band-Aid on it. I was telling the doc this morning that his acupressure spot
is working but if I keep this up I'm going to have a damaged hand as it is
getting quite sore. So he plopped a "needle" in the ...

I am taking my computer in for major surgery.  Apparently I have some
corrupted files/programs.  yikes.  I'm taking the "box" back to Best Buy for
them to fix.  Trying to do any more on my own is going to cause me grief.  I
just know it.
Where's Maggy?07 Apr 2004 02:24 GMT10
Does anyone know where my Ant Maggy is?  Is she okay?  I am thinkin maybe
that she hurt herself and can't get to me.  But maybe she went on a
vacation, or somethin nice like that.  In that case she would not want me to
worry.  I just wish I knew where she was!  She usually writes to ...
Has anyone had any experience with this?06 Apr 2004 22:44 GMT14
I am fortunate enough to still be able to work full-time (with my employers accommodation of two days per week from home).  As an IT person, this works out well since I can log onto the network and do everything I would do at work - except run myself ragged.
I am also fortunate ...

Anyone with WebTV and Usenet experience?04 Apr 2004 23:52 GMT2
Could use some help explaining to someone else how to get to ASL via
WebTV.  As I'm not familiar with WebTV I don't know if there's
something special she has to do to get to Usenet groups.

Anyone heard from Ruth?04 Apr 2004 12:16 GMT2
just got to thinking the last week, where in the world is Ruth.  Bev, if
you are reading this, I forgot to ask you that.
She was having a rough time of it last year, so please anyone?
I posted a few days ago, did anyone see that post?   I am not getting all
I'm still here, just BUSY!03 Apr 2004 22:40 GMT6
Sorry I've been away for so long.  I miss you guys!  In the middle of a
move to Florida, so have been ridiculously busy with that and school.
Managing both is no easy feat!
Hubby started his new job in Florida, and he seems to be loving it,
