steriod reduction question22 Mar 2004 14:39 GMT6
Hi all, I am sorry I have been so quiet recently. I have been trying
to keep up as best I can with the posts, as far as reading and now I
have a question for you all.
Can any of you tell me how you reacted to even a minor reduction in
feet/hands - for neuropathy/raynaud's?22 Mar 2004 07:21 GMT45
Check with your doctors first and do do a small patch test to make
sure it doesn't cause skin problems..\

Provigil22 Mar 2004 06:40 GMT4
Has anyone been prescribed Provigil?  I saw a new PCP last Thursday,
and he prescribed it for me.  I'm on a lot of medications, as most of
you know, including pain meds, and I do get very sleepy during the
day.  Provigil is supposed to keep me awake during the day without
Mys(t)ery solved21 Mar 2004 17:29 GMT4
Ok, my body has finally stuck it in my face.  I have a fever and what looks
like a petri dish on my left tonsil.  I woke with a soar throat and it got
worse during the day.  I looked down there last night and just chalked the
irritation up to good old fashioned post nasal drip.  ...

I thought yesterday was an improvement overall - then about 10 p.m. my
temp suddenly went up and the back of my throat started burning.
Apparently I have the same bug hubby has.  can't see the doc until
Monday earliest.

If I missed it, I sure don't see it.  I'm wondering how your doctor's

Feeling relatively good21 Mar 2004 11:28 GMT3
Ok I'm feeling relatively good for me. Not sure why. Knees haven't been too
bad. Legs working fairly well. Head is pretty clear. This is about as good
as it get for me. Only some minor pains and a little neuralgia shooting
pains across my face occasionally. So I had great plans for ...

This morning my back was hurting so badly I could not stay sitting in my
chair here.  I was dreading going to Physical Therapy.  But I told the
therapist I was in pain, and he gave me some really good treatment!  He
showed me on a model of the spine how many ligaments there are that ...
Cytoxan20 Mar 2004 01:59 GMT3
Of anyone taking Cytoxan... did any of you experience more aches?  I don't
know if this is my body fighting the cytoxan or what.  Feel like cr*p.
Since starting it my joint pain has increased along with muscles, thighs,
calfs and biceps.  Started taking soma which helps somewhat.  I ...
Grapefruit not OT19 Mar 2004 16:15 GMT10
I just read a short blurb in the new Readers Digest in an article
about foods that heal, that people with automimmune diseases may
expereince a decrease in symptoms when they eat grapefruit daily.
There is a substance that helps decrease inflammation.  I've been

Tetnus Shots18 Mar 2004 23:44 GMT3
Has anyone had problems taking a tetanus shot?
I went into a major flare after taking, and wonder if this is common,
and the doctor should have considered this.  I cannot take the flu
vaccination  after adverse reactions two years in a row.

Vasculitis section of FAQ18 Mar 2004 13:56 GMT4
I have placed a "TBD" on the Symptoms and Syndromes page of the FAQ.
While I do have resources on this topic, I find that I can't condense
them into simpler terms because I really don't know enough about the
topic.
