Stem cell transplant for lupus: does anyone know what the odds are for
success with this? By success I mean what percentage of those who've
completed treatment do and dont have lupus afterwards?

We now have a hole in the living room ceiling but we have a working sink

Well... I spent Friday and Saturday in the hospital and I'm feeling
like an idiot who just blew thousands of dollars.  I've been having
chest pressure/pain off and on now for a while.  It got worse in the
past few weeks and I've been feeling lightheaded, anxious and have

Well I must say tis cold again this morn. -38 , 50k wind and 20c snow.
Marcia is having more than usual hurts with her raynaurds. Her tounge and
palms of her hand are spliting big time.
Any idea on this?

Anyone had that, especially nodular episcleritis? It can be part of several
autoimmune diseases (AS, Crohn's, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, RA etc), as
well as appear in healthy people, so it's not clear why I got it. It scared
the crap out of me though! I was removing my eye makeup ...

Based on what I've read and the rash on my face, the extreme fatigue
and sore muscles, and the past borderline positive ANA, I'm feeling
more certain that I have SLE.

My wife has lupus.  Back a few years ago, she started to loose a lot
of hair in clumps.  Her scalp has sunken and scabby areas where the
hair was lost.  You can't tell, though because most of the areas are
on the sides or back of her head and the rest of her hair covers them.

Leslie, don't despair I have been there too . Depression is part of the
lupus and improves with treatment of the lupus Brain fog is also part of
some forms of lupus and again clears with treatment.

I'm done w/my antibiotic and I'm still itching, yucky, etc.
I have a feeling it's gonna take forever to get rid of this.
I also get my bloodwork results back this week.  Dr was testing me for
diabetes cuz of some slow/non healing wounds I have.
