First visit at new RD24 Jan 2004 20:16 GMT12
Well, it seems like I've hit RD jackpot! He is the prototype of a good
doctor - competent, up-to-date, friendly, good listener, thorough. Very
casual too and talks a lot. It's probably the best dr I've ever met.
My meds were adjusted, so that I take less folic acid and more ...

I'm working too many hours. I hurt so bad today I couldn't figure out how to
get my legs to move so I could remove my socks. Lost a wonderful friend this
past Sunday and then lost another friend Monday. I received a call this
morning asking if I knew about it and was I attending the ...

Flaring and sad about pred weight gain22 Jan 2004 20:39 GMT4
So I guess I have to increase my pred again.  My RD increased it from
10- 20mg a day for three days, then dropped me right down to 10mg again.
I am now worse than ever.  So I should call my RD and tell him I need
to go up again and come down slowly, right?

Pat, Theresa, Jacqui---remember?22 Jan 2004 19:28 GMT4
Does anybody remember, or hear from the people I mentioned above? There was
a Theresa who had a platelet problem. Jacqui was from Australia, I think.
There was a really nice lady named Pat Meadows. Seems to me she talked about
her dogs. I wonder if anyone ever hears from them. They ...

Hi everyone.  I hope everyone's feeling as well as can be expected.  All

virus warning - "lupus-L" list folks?22 Jan 2004 18:53 GMT8
Hi there..
recently a fellow ASL post-er received a virus email from what
*looked* like my address.  But was not.  This means, in all likelihood
that the virus is on the system of a mutual email acquaintence.  In

I saw my doc again.  I was mistaken about seeing the rheumatologist
(they're in the same practice).  She had me see HER again.
With my symptoms, I thought she would discuss lupus.  So here are my
symptoms:

Mair *still* sick, doggonit!21 Jan 2004 02:30 GMT13
Well the good news is that I am over the chest infection pretty much.  It
has left me weak, and with a bad case of bronchitis.  Even sitting up for
too long makes me need to go back to bed for a few hours!  But I don't think
it is a lupus flare.  Have not been getting out much, and ...
