I cried, I laughed, I'm recommending it in my column.
Back on pred---briefly I hope17 Jul 2003 03:16 GMT6
Good Afternoon Everyone,
I managed to get off pred completely. I weaned myself off it because I
didn't think I needed it. I want to see if the Imuran alone will work. My
platelets took a big drop, then recovered. I started having hand problems
Saw Dr. today about imuran15 Jul 2003 12:05 GMT5
I saw dr. today and because my bloodwork came back "normal" - everything
within limits- we are going to try no Imuran at all.  Mainly, my ANA came
back negative, whereas i've always had a positive.  I can't remember titers,
I just remember it always shows up.
Another sleepless night15 Jul 2003 06:05 GMT10
Well, I overdid it this weekend, and am paying the price at the end of a
very long weekend of chores, but they all have to get done sometime.
I don't know if I've updated in a while, but here goes.  My RD took my
pred down to 7.5 mg from 10mg, because I was doing well on the
colonoscopy prep14 Jul 2003 22:05 GMT7
Has anyone here done a colonoscopy prep that requires drinking a gallon of
something called "Colyte"?  This sounds pretty harsh to me.  I have already
put in my prescription for the dang stuff, and now I am thinking that
perhaps the stress of doing this is going to send me into one ...
Critique of Coolibar Sun Protection Co.14 Jul 2003 14:57 GMT3
Hi group,
Thought I'd share my experience with the new sun protection
company KCat told us about a while back.  I'm pleased with
my experience with them.  I put one of their products to an
Follow-up re: Paget's & biopsy.14 Jul 2003 03:12 GMT1
Glad to say, biopsy was negative.
I still appreciate the info on Paget's.
All docs involved took this very
seriously!  Thanks again.

Owwwww-eee!13 Jul 2003 02:38 GMT1
Well, I had a semi productive day.  Got the brat mutts bathed & got the
Advantage on them, so that the fleas wouldn't consume 'em.  And look at
the thanks I get!
I was taking a sheet off the clothes line & enjoying that fresh summery
Re: my colonoscopy12 Jul 2003 08:34 GMT2
I just got home a little while ago.  My colon has a perfect bill of health;
surprising to me with the way I have abused it by not eating veggies or
salads... plus the years of colonic paralysis I had due to  imipramine,
which I took for about 10 years. I remember nothing of the ...
dry throat and eyes10 Jul 2003 22:49 GMT9
Hi, y'all.
I've been struggling with dry eyes since mid-May. At first, I assumed
it was allergy eyes. Now the allergies are diminished to the point
that I don't even need to irrigate my sinuses twice a day.
Procedure today10 Jul 2003 19:58 GMT2
I'm having my colonoscopy today at 1pm, and I will be out of commission
until evening, I presume.  I am also presuming that things will go just
fine, and that I will post about it tomorrow morning.  Everybody have a good
day
Red marks on legs09 Jul 2003 21:37 GMT14
I have these red marks on the inside of my thighs right above my knees,
and I have no idea what they are from.  They kinda look like stretch
marks, but I'm not convinced that's what they are.  My stretch marks
usually have a shiny appearance to them, and are a bit indented like
Too sick08 Jul 2003 18:17 GMT1
I had an appointment scheduled with my rheumie down in SF, and I am just too
sick to go, and I just tried to reschedule my appointment... the first thing
he has available is *october!*  But you know, I know my body, and if I get
behind the wheel of a car today... it is not okay.
Thanks Sharon08 Jul 2003 07:51 GMT4
I am feeling pretty good tonight, but that was not the case earlier in the
day when I had a terrible migraine headache.
Sharon coaxed me through my headache with her very kind words and
suggestions, and she allayed my fears about my upcoming colonoscopy, which I
