I am looking for advice on how to troubleshoot a Coulter Micro Diff II,
which I bought online. It starts up and fails the auto check giving the
error message " Error detected (17), diluent not detected". I looks that the
pumps are working, but I haven't been able to prime the fluid ...

I have a micro qusetion, Judy are you the expert?
We ocassionally get tissue "swabs" from the OR. We are a satellite lab so we
send AFB, fungus cultures to the big hospital. We plate routine cultures
in-house and do the gram stains.
