Hi... Does anyone know what is the approximate speed of objects through the laser light beam spot during the flow cytometry measurement? May the speed be as high that Doppler effect could take place here? I had been asked such question but failed to find appropriate answer anywhere

Anyone still doing clinitest on _adults_ (note, I did not say infants) when the chemstips > 250 mg/dl (low sensitivity limit)? I see no CAP requirement, and assume this is merely an archaic hang over in our procedures. Thanks
