In a case of sudden-onset hemolytic anemia due to the presence of cold agglutinins, how would you be able to discern whether a CMV infection or a B-cell lymphoma was the root cause? Would there be any way to tell from a standard CBC? Or would you recommend additional tests?

Under routine tests, we meausre blood/serum levels of any bio-chemical. But there can be some difference in understanding on blood/serum level & total body level. I want to know; 1. What are blood/serum levels & total body levels of bio-chemicals?

MLO just arrived yesterday. It included a brief article on ten instruments that changed the clinical lab. I've worked with every one of them, recall when all but the Klett and the Coleman Jr. II were the best things since, well, since vacutainer tubes.
