I'm trying to apply for a job over seas, and as a pre-employment
requisite I had to go through some lab work - which involved taking
blood and fasting. I was told not to eat anything after 12 Midnight,
and my blood was drawn 10 hours later. I am now on medical hold due to

My husband's blood test was high in the following:
potassium, urea nitrogen, creatinine, WBC, RDW,  absolute monocytes.
What does this suggest?

Any commercial stains out there for csf hemocytometry?  Is it practical to
stain csf specimens that are not diluted?  I currently don't wet stained csf
for hemocytometry, but am look at the CAP.  We make no dilutions (auto above
500).  No problem with dried slide preps.
