I'm trying to find some fairly basic PC software for general laboratory
QC/QA statistics.  Mostly I need to do some linearity and method comparison
anaylsis.  I don't really need T-test, F-test, etc., but just the ability to
easily calculate SD, CV, etc.  We use Sunquest for our LIS ...

Hi all!  I've been asked by my lab to write up a policy and procedure on
TDG - and it looks like we are going the route of Saf-T-Pak.  While I can do
the procedure pretty much from the company info, I was just wondering what
other labs were using out there.  Any one else use this ...

I am doing research on C-reactive protein coding gene and how its
polymorphisms affect CRP levels and atherosclerosis genesis. I am
using PCR and a restriction enzyme MaeIII to resolve patients'
genotypes (GG, GC or CC).

I recently got an endoscopy and had tissue samples taken from my
colon.  In addition, they did an EGD.  The lab results were supposed
to be back within three weeks, but didn't show up.  After six weeks, I
contacted the doctor to find out what happened.  He told me the lab
