I have noticed that when I have OB's close together that they are not quite as painful. If I have one after a good while of no prodrome, no OB, or anything, it seems to hit harder. Or maybe I just notice it more. I'm not sure.

I am in day three of HSV2 diagnosis and currently on Valtrex for outbreak. I am considering to speak to my MD to start supressive therapy right away. Do doctors tend to wait to see how many (and severe) episodic outbreaks there are?
