hello29 Jan 2004 22:39 GMT4
I'm new to the group. I live in NC, Im 34 years old. I'm all alone, left
with no one to share my secret with. I have reddish blonde hair, 5' 9"
thin, green eyes, fairly attractive. Looking for a male friend to
correspond with via e-mail prefferly (sp) in the NC 252 area for
Kaiser and Valtrex29 Jan 2004 17:12 GMT2
I've been on Valtrex for suppression, 500 mg 1/day for a couple of years.  (I
have both genital herpes and oral) It's working great, much better than
acyclovir, which I used to be on.  Maybe there are other variables in there
too, such as stress factor, staying healthy, but whatever ...
Experience with Online Pharmacies?27 Jan 2004 23:21 GMT1
Have any of you bought Acyclovir, Valtrex, Famvir, etc. online from a
pharmacy that also does the prescription? If so, would you please
advise on the best reliable source in terms of price, efficiency,
confidentiality, etc.? I don't want to get ripped off or receive
Pains and discomfort to expect? Treatments?27 Jan 2004 22:41 GMT14
I just found out I have herpes and have been on Acyclovir 200MG for
one week.
My symptoms are red irritation, tingling and minor blisters although I
feel as if they will worsen. The pain isn't that bad but I know sex is
So, that's me on my own now eh?27 Jan 2004 09:58 GMT12
Two weeks ago a girl I just met gave me unprotected oral sex and
protected sex.
I now appear to have genital herpes. Guess that's me alone for the
rest of my life then.
Valtrex concerns27 Jan 2004 03:24 GMT6
Let me get right to the point....I trust the posters here more
than I do any of the doctors I've seen thus far.  I'm strongly
considering taking Valtrex on a daily basis, but I am concerned
about the costs that'll accrue.  With my insurance I wound up
The pattern for the inevitable herpes simplex cure.26 Jan 2004 10:19 GMT1
Allowing enough time for your immune system to become
fully capacitated for the herpes defences, at all levels,
respectivelly the neuronal, trigerminal/dorsal ganglia, skin/mucosa,
having its specificity for each individual case,
Physicians and Herpes: How not to proceed...23 Jan 2004 21:00 GMT1
I'd just like to relay a few of my experiences so far in trying
to deal with my brand new genital herpes problem.  The title of
my post is pure hyperbole, far too sweepingly damning of the
average doctor, as I'm sure some of you have a dermatologist
Day four and Valtrex23 Jan 2004 19:11 GMT3
So...I got the unsurprising news that I indeed have genital
HSV.  Unfortunately, they did not test whether it was HSV1 or
HSV2, citing that it was a non-standard extra analysis that
couldn't be immediately done.  I'll follow up on this detail with
one or the other23 Jan 2004 03:23 GMT4
I know this question has been answered, however, I do not feel like
searching all the threads.  If a person already gets cold sores, are they
still able to contract herpes?
TIA
Does Herpes manifest like this ?23 Jan 2004 00:08 GMT1
My doctors are clueless saying herpes does not do all this.  So I hope
the knowledgeable members of this group can comment if individuals
with herpes show these symptoms ?
After having unprotected sex with a lady 7 months back I have
Another question22 Jan 2004 17:31 GMT3
Supposing that I have genital HSV2, is it possible to infect
*myself* with ORAL herpes by touching my lesions and then later
touching my face accidentally, without having washed up properly?
Thanks,
Worried I might have it21 Jan 2004 00:02 GMT1
Hello. This seems like such a great place to ask herpes related
questions; so, I thought I would give it a try.
Yesterday, I engaged in oral sex with a woman I recently met and do
not plan to see again (I was visiting another city/state). I do not
Wondering20 Jan 2004 23:58 GMT1
Please excuse any ignorant comments I might make.  Over four years ago, I
dated a woman that has herpes.  We dated for 6 weeks and had sex several
times.  She declined when she was "active" and when we did have sex, it was
always with protection and I always immediately scrubbed ...
Topical use of honey -  its content in hydrogen peroxide20 Jan 2004 14:07 GMT25
Honey applied topically on the sore will heal the sore
very fast.
I can't think of a better choice then honey for that matter.
Manuka honey, wild flower honey etc.
