I have Genital HSV-1. I get a red spot on the foreskin every few months or
longer. I got it from a girl who didn't know she had oral Herpes. I can
pretty much pinpoint the time I got it...rough oral sex. I chafed my skin
thereby exposing myself to it.

Everywhere I look, I keep seeing, "There is no cure for herpes," but
cannot find an explanation as to why there is no cure. I can't be the
only person that has ever questioned this, yet I cannot locate an
answer. Can anyone shed some light on this?

three weeks ago came back positive for HSV-1. My outbreak was in the

If I give Herpes symplex 2 to my SO on her mouth, (she has had some
cold soars around her mouth after I had an outbreak)will it travel
down to affect her genital area. Or will I have to have direct contact
with her genitals to give it to her.
