I seems like when I did this two years ago, I had pretty bad flu
symptons for about 5 days after the first injection, and that effect

MOM! DAD! IM HOME!23 Oct 2008 21:19 GMT2
About two years ago, I wandered in here and lurked for awhile as I was
starting treatment for my Hep C.  Never participated much, but I did
like reading posts from people who were going through the same thing I
was.  I failed to get an SVR.  In fact, the virus had returned in week
Implications for Hep C tx & Anemia?23 Oct 2008 21:08 GMT4
I wonder HOW deprived of O2 the brain needs to be for stuff like this
to happen--if it is happening. Perhaps at some point in the future
keeping people (ahem) at hemoglobin levels of around 10 for 72 weeks
will be considered...ill advised...
Ibuprofen and liver damage22 Oct 2008 22:59 GMT12
My doctor, who is my general practitioner as well as in charge of the
clinic's Hep C program, has had me on ibuprofen for several years for
back pain and was told to take it before taking the Pegasys shot so I'd
not feel the side effects as much.
Happy Thanksgiving16 Oct 2008 18:15 GMT5
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all you dragon slayers on ash-c.
The holiday reminds me not to give thanks, but of how much so many people
take for granted (like not having hep c).
If I was to give thanks, it would be for all the awesome help and support,
For the newbies14 Oct 2008 14:42 GMT67
It's like a band of malicious vagabonds is wandering around inside your
body. "Gee, what shall we do today? "Diarrhea diarrhea!" Comes the cry from
the assembled hooligans. "But first," says their leader, how about a little
nausea?" A louder cheer goes up, and  they start off to do ...

Low platelet count can make you feel tired and fatigued08 Oct 2008 06:13 GMT1
I was looking for a group more suited to platelet problems, but I
didn't find one.  Maybe someone can steer me to one.
Anyway.......I treated for HepC, and was told I was clear back in Nov
2005, and am still clear as of last test about 4 months ago.  Right
What my doctor said yesterday...07 Oct 2008 22:08 GMT15
I went and saw my liver doctor yesterday and I did not feel so well
when I left. He said that because of my morbid obesity he would not
treat me as he felt I could not tolerate the treatment. Plus I have a
cyst in my pancreas and he wants that looked at again. I cannot really
