Hope you all have had a nice holliday........... Im a bit concerned about my posr rx recovery because I feel I hav´nt come back 100%, been off tx now for about 6 months and still feel a bit beaten up mentally, physically I feel quite OK.

In another post I asked about sides during the last 4 months of Tx. Two people brought up taking care around sources of bacteria because of a run-down body. Isn't Interferon used to boost the immune system's defenses?

Hi all. An update for the old timers of the group. Ran my PCR for the 12-week post-tx check today. Result is over 7 million copies/mL. The last check, at the end of September, was <5. This after a 18 month high dose repeat tx.

Do what you will with this info. I was not discouraged. Two years ago I relapsed after treatment from October '04 to September '05, with an undetectable PCR about five weeks post-treatment. Gtype 1b, 1.7 million vl prior to combo treatment. I went for an ultrasound scan this ...

another piece of news this time. I went in for lab tests to confirm the confirmation test I had in November. The short story is that I had a VL check in October, 2 years after end of successful (SVR) treatment, and it was positive (308 IU/ml).
