Well this eavening im up for the final shot and only one week of riba left, so i will celebrate with some sparkling water! I was planning to go for another 12 weeks, my MD said OK, but i feel that enough is enough and im running on fumes.

For many of us (like those with long-standing type 1 HCV) the current combination therapy seems to have a high risk-benefit ratio. Here's some hope while we wait for second generation drugs. --------------------------------

Began Tx May 30th. 0.5 Pegintron once a week and 1000mg Ribavirin every day... On a scale of 1=no sweat to 10=I can't take it, I quit Tx, I suppose I'm about 5.5-6.0, maybe. Starting to have some real good brain fog

Anyone have any info or studys about this? Would someone infected with a blood transfusion progress faster than someone lets say with a coke straw or needle prick. I can't seem to find any info on this. Ron
