Sides31 Mar 2006 20:58 GMT31
Why is that one week the sides are manageable and the next week they
knock you on your a.s.  I find the fevers very difficult to handle.
Some weeks I have blinding headaches and this week incredible bone and
muscle pain.

Hi gang, not sure if this is good news or bad.  Do we want our liver

Hey dortski31 Mar 2006 05:26 GMT1
Those patches worked out really well for me last night. A little codine,
slap on a patch, and I managed to get about 4 hours sleep. Pretty good
considering. I took the day off today to try and nurse my neck to a point
where I can at least carry my back pack.

What is the best way to (physically) clean old vinyl albums? Water?  I have
a nice Yamaha turntable with an expensive cartridge, and a boatload of old
vinyl.
thanks in advance

Bad eyesite from Pegasus30 Mar 2006 00:46 GMT11
I have been off treatment since Nov. 2004 and still clear of the virus
per last check 3 months ago.  Even before the treatments ended my
eyesight has started to go bad.  Before treatment I had no problems
seeing anything.
another tx update29 Mar 2006 22:17 GMT17
Incredibly good news: I had big-time CNS (central nervous system)
sensory-disturbance-pain problems for months before tx that may have
triggered the demyelination events (white matter spots) detected by my
recent brain MRI/MRS.  The MRI/MRS was followed by Evoked Potentials
Shot #229 Mar 2006 22:16 GMT5
I took shot #2 last night.
Side effects continue to be minimal. Maybe some increased thirst but
thats about it.
Thank God.
New Member -- Starting Tx Today29 Mar 2006 22:14 GMT8
I am scheduled to start interferon/ribavirin (Pegasys) treatment for
hepatitis C today. In January (3 months ago) I tested positive for
Hep-C antibodies at a blood donor clinic and promptly followed up with
PCR testing at a local Liver and Hepatitis Clinic. Obviously, the PCR

Well I`ve been lurking here since shortly after starting treatment 10 weeks
ago but I figure its time to share.
It was almost a year ago when my doc noticed my enzyme levels during a
routine physical so a few more tests and he confirms I have hep c so he
Alcohol soon after tx?28 Mar 2006 15:21 GMT28
I know I am jumping the gun here a little since I am in week 14 of 48
week tx but I have to have something to look forward to.
Is it safe to drink as soon as the 48 weeks is complete or should you
wait until the 6 month SVR confirmation?
