Although the doctor I see for the NM283 trial said he didn't see a reason to get the biopsy now I scheduled one for next week. If all my blood work comes back as expected, I will start the meds for the trial next Friday. Biopsy will be Wed.

This is something that's never sat well with me, not for moral reasons but because it just because it doesn't make any sense. It's frequently stated that having more than one sexual partner increases the risk of contracting hepatitis c.

I just got my 1 year post tx PCR and it was once again undetectable. My doctor said congratulations, you are cured. ALT/AST was 30/15 which is about half of my pre tx levels. I'm feeling great and not missing the bad old days in the Friday night shot club.
