Gumboot Sighting04 Dec 2005 16:01 GMT12
The one and only Geb Bixer, aka Ribatroll, is reportedly touring the
southwestern area of British Columbia, Canada. He's been spotted in
Vancouver and many of its suburbs as well as on Gailiano Island. On a
bridge. Having a conversation with a wild animal. A big wild animal. Well ...
Decided to suck it up and get the biopsy04 Dec 2005 14:08 GMT10
Although the doctor I see for the NM283 trial said he didn't see a
reason to get the biopsy now I scheduled one for next week. If all my
blood work comes back as expected, I will start the meds for the trial
next Friday. Biopsy will be Wed.
Mission Completed: Found The WMDs04 Dec 2005 00:22 GMT67
Hi *feral* *cave* dwellers* as promised, I have fought my war against the
terrorists without fear or hesitation as is my duty to the people. I can now
proudly announce that I have finally found the WMDs.
I think this is very good news for most of us, but not if you live near
Risky business? Or not?03 Dec 2005 23:49 GMT25
This is something that's never sat well with me, not for moral reasons but

HCV Undetectable 12 Months Post TX03 Dec 2005 23:25 GMT11
I just got my 1 year post tx PCR and it was once again undetectable.
My doctor said congratulations, you are cured.  ALT/AST was 30/15
which is about half of my pre tx levels.  I'm feeling great and not
missing the bad old days in the Friday night shot club.
Seven months later03 Dec 2005 21:35 GMT7
Just wanted to say that this group helped me immensely when I was on
the treatment drugs last year.  I finished my 48 weeks in early May,
and I sure don't want to do that again.
But it was well worth the effort.  I feel so good now that it's almost
HELP! Question on ALP & Hep C "relapse". . .03 Dec 2005 20:03 GMT3
I was here back in 2000 when I was first diagnosed with Hep C -
I did the recommended full year combo treatment (Rebetron &
Interferon) and I had been in remission since the end of treatment.
Well, my GP found my alkaline phosphatase (ALP) level was very
Hep C nutrition website03 Dec 2005 13:06 GMT2
Hi all, There is alot of excess verbiage here, but in general I think it's
a pretty good site.  It gets into things I have questions about like
medium-chain-triglycerides.  It's in an instructional course format for
health care types, but it's free and online. You need to register, ...

Info from the Gastroentereoloy Newletter at Medscape03 Dec 2005 02:04 GMT5
IIRC there was a new person who asked for some information regarding
their Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis a few months ago, so I am posting
this link to a new article on Medscape.
The second link is self explanatory.

Transmission of Hepatitis C Through Swapping Body Jewelry01 Dec 2005 13:53 GMT10
Up to 15% of patients with hepatitis C do not have an identifiable risk

college-aged students (13-25 years), with a prevalence of 25% to 35%. We
report the case of a 17-year- old woman with chronic ...
