Heart scan30 Nov 2005 22:39 GMT8
I couldnt get my HMO to do an  EKG prior to treatment so I opted for a
heart scan from a private company. .
They are relatively inexpensive . $450, and  mine came back with a
calcium score of 54. That means mild plaque burden and likely mild or

No wonder I feel like sh.t.  My blood has taken a sh.t kicking.  Not only is
my WBC down so is my RBC.  My whites should be at 1.45 and has dropped to
1.16.  My red level is 1.71.  To stay in the study I need it back to 1.75.
Any comments on this?  Their solution right now is to ...
What medications can help during TX?30 Nov 2005 14:05 GMT21
I have genotype 2b with a VL in my last test of 7,000,000. I am hoping
for a good virus count at week 4, so that I might 'qualify' for a
12-week TX. I think the possibility of knocking down a VL as high as
mine in 4 weeks is unlikely, but I just have to hope at this point. I

While I was in West Germany, 75-81, I fathered a child who I haven't seen
since I left Germany. He was 2 years old when I left and I never once
contacted the mother. I take full responsibility for my fool hardy days and
the immature way I handled my responsibilities but the ...
Allan you have been killfiled :-)30 Nov 2005 07:19 GMT5
I will never read your continuous verbose moronic response full of babbling
arcane linkage, so please do not respond in order to spare someone  who does
not know how to killfile.   Peace :-)   Doug

Effexor 30 Nov 2005 00:30 GMT49
My gastro required me to get a psych on board due to history of depression.
I had my first visit with the Pdoc today and was precribed Effexor XR. The
insert cautions folks with liver or kidney problems. Anyone else on this? Is
Zoloft a better choice?

Well the forties are gone.  That is reason enough to celebrate.  The
thirties will go by quickly.  I am looking at 4 week segments to have a more
optimistic approach to this.  I will have 5 treatments by New Years and on 3
January will be heading to Mexico for 1 month and be ...

Ribavirin dosing28 Nov 2005 12:53 GMT6
Hi People
Here's a news bit from a large study involving 4900 patients.  They
compared weight-based Ribavirin dose to ‘flat dose' Riba. The ‘flat dose'
was 800mg Riba.  Riba is the drug that causes red blood cells to drop,

post treatment neuropathy in fingers?28 Nov 2005 08:46 GMT9
From time to time recently, I get really sharp pains in the fore and index
fingers of both hands, almost like I have to unlock the joints and flex the
tendons in order to get the fingers extended.  They almost seem more
comfortable in the old 'claw' position, slightly curled.  ...
