I had my last (48th) interferon injection last Saturday night.
Next Friday I'll take my last five Ribavirin pills and then I'll be out
of treatment.
For me, being able to reach the end of treatment with almost no dosage

Just received a letter from my HMO stating that prior to starting
treatment they want me to have an eye exam.
Anybody know why they do that?

I was to start treatment next week and found out the cost of the copegus is
nearly the same as the Pegasys on a monthly basis, I am floored. $1,400 a
month for the Pegasys and $1330 for the Copegus. I knew the Pegasys was
expensive but didn't have a clue the Copegus would equal the ...

EDGE waiting for my the pcr test to come back from last wednesday. Did you

I talked to someone who did the nm283 mono trial. He said it worked
great and held the virus in check. I wonder if to much is being put in
to a "cure" instead of just keeping it at bay untill a sure way of
killing it comes a long.

What kind of test should be used for the end of treatment test?? The dr gave
me a PCR Quantitative which read <50 per IU/ML at the end of my 48th week.
The dr thinks that's undetectable. I am not so sure. Should I have a
Qualitative test done as well? I'd hate to stop treatment now ...
