Anybody out there "anyone?" who knows that they're cured?27 Mar 2005 18:43 GMT4
Since the stats show that there are many thousands of people who have been
completely cured.  Then maybe just a small handful might post on this
newsgroup just to encourage others like me who would like very much to hear
about how much hope there is.  I know if I found out that I ...

"You'll fart your guts out one of these days," she always complained.
After a particularly bad week ...

An elderly woman walked into the Bank of Canada one morning with a purse
full of money. She wanted to open a savings account and insisted on talking
to the president of the Bank
because, she said, she had a lot of money.

Interesting comment from Dr. Qingcai Zhang - the virus26 Mar 2005 04:46 GMT9
Many patients worry that they are carrying a virus and have not been
cured. Although their liver functions are normalized and they have
a normal or near-normal quality of life, they feel uneasy that they
still have HCV in their body. I tell them that everybody carries certain
Anyone ever cured..or test negative - after 5 year followup?26 Mar 2005 02:12 GMT19
I hear about lots of different treatments but none that I would try even if
I could afford it.  I've read many trial results but they seem to
conveniently leave out any 5 year follow-up results.  Are there no people
who return to be checked after 5 years or do the doctors not tell ...

Extract from Mother Theresa ? Living Sinner by Kittey Kelley25 Mar 2005 07:55 GMT4
It's not so much the late - but the latest - Mother Theresa!
Mother Theresa died in 1978. Her recent "death" merely marked the
passing of the fourth and final imitator lined up by the Catholic
Church to play the role of the "Saint of the Gutters".

I just found out the results of my liver biopsy: Grade 1/Stage 0.
