Oh Arthur, Oh Arthur, Where are thee Arthur? (side track)07 Feb 2005 12:37 GMT4
In the great state of Texas a woman was charged with negligent homicide for
giving her husband a "sherry" Enema!!! Hahahaha.... It seems that he could
no longer drink alcoholic products by mouth due to stomach  ulcers. Arthur,
for those of you too new to the group, was a great ...
My eyes (again)07 Feb 2005 09:39 GMT2
I went to see the eye specialist recently.
When I was on interferon/riba tx, my eyes started watering badly after
about 18 weeks.  This eased after a while.  After tx, I saw my GP
about it and he diagnosed (without looking) that I had blocked tear
milestone - one quarter in06 Feb 2005 21:40 GMT22
Admittedly it is much easier to get a quarter of the way in when you only
have 24 weeks to do, but none the less I remember thinking how far away it
felt when I started.   I was going to say feeling much more positve but
perhaps it is closer to the mark to say feeling much less ...
OT Bob Marely's 60th  Passion and committment06 Feb 2005 20:25 GMT3
Bob Marley meant a lot to many of us in the HCV demographic, and still does
with his timeless message of the power of the human spirit, if mobilized.
He would have been sixty years old today.

Good news,Bad News06 Feb 2005 17:37 GMT11
The bad news is the tx did not work, 6 mos with geno 2b and vl went from
3.2mm to 100m, the good news is I went to UCLA to see a great Doc and he
told me that he has never seen a stage 0 liver biopsy report before, he said
to treat me with infergen would border on malpractice!

work, and I don't have his phone #.  It's going to be a LONG weekend.
Extra redi-pens and ribavirin05 Feb 2005 17:55 GMT4
I have 3 150 mcg (Peg-Intron) redi-pens and a couple hundred 200 mg

Anyone that is having to pay for this stuff?
It feels odd05 Feb 2005 17:32 GMT34
This is my first week since starting treatment without a hospital visit, my
blood work is supposedly stable and so I only need to be tested every 4
weeks from now on.  Not sure I believe the stable thing either 4 weeks seems
to early to tell, and at the last measurement my ...
Group tone has changed05 Feb 2005 16:03 GMT19
It sure seems as though the composition and purpose of this n/g has changed
drastically. For some months I felt as though I had found sort of a home
here, now it just seems so different. Not nearly the sort of welcoming
support it once was.Well, even if I do not post, I still will ...

Got my lab results today:
HCV RNA undetectable (< 50 IU/ml), AST 13, ALT 16.
If that isn't a cure, I don't know what is.
Genotype 1, 7 months Peg-Intron+Riba.

Hi Kids,
I'm new to the group and tested positive, haven't started my nasty
