Hey Group-
I'll be starting treatment soon (I have 3b and will only need 24 weeks) know
the possible side effects and I'm prepared for the worst with a nice little

Off Subject - to Elmo or anyother picker.07 Jan 2005 22:39 GMT7
This "extended" cold snap has finally gotten me in the frame of mind to
switch to an L.P. gas  from a wood burning fire stove. Which means the
Gibson double neck (which I love) has to go. Any one know of any good
consignment shops??

Well, Neupogen already, so we're worried about the possibility that
Larry won't finish tx. The nurse did not give us the lab results yet,
and Quest Diagostics is slow in sending the fax to us, however, she
wants him to stop taking the interferon for now. I noticed his

Well the subject just about sez it all.
I have Hep C. I recently realized that I'm now 90LBs overweight. In the
past few years I've changed my lifestyle greatly. I used to be a
carpenter working at physical labor all day. in 2000 I became a student,

Found out my starting viral load05 Jan 2005 15:30 GMT3
As already posted I did my first treatment on New Years Eve, but I didn't
know my starting viral load at that point.  I phoned through today to find
out and it is only a piddly 9,500 this strikes me as incredibly low and must
surely bode well for me.  Just wanted to share.

Just wondering and have a question.
Which John Mayall album are you listening too?
I replaced my long gone LP's with some CD's and had forgotten the Bare
Wires LP with Mick Taylor.  ( I think someone stole it, but then the
New to the group05 Jan 2005 00:50 GMT3
Hi all, just wanted to say I'm new to the group.....but not Hep C. I was
diagnosed with Non A Non B, then C in 1992. I've been on meds 7 times. I
react to the interferon, but I'm a relapser. My doctor no longer wants to
use any interferon based meds. Also, I'm allergic to ...

Well, tomorrows the big day! I know you are so excited you can hardly stand
it. Are you making that better than sex cake? I was just thinking about you
and remembered how it felt when my son would come home for leave. It's one
of the best feelings in the world. Make all of his ...
Saw the Doc today04 Jan 2005 23:10 GMT5
Went and saw the liver transplant specialist today (the one doing the
Infergen trial).  I'm not eligible for the trial because of the
Hemochromatosis, I can do the tx, but It wouldn't be free.  Think I'll
hold off for a while since I've used up all of my sick leave for this

Please Explain This To Me, Alis?04 Jan 2005 09:09 GMT14
Hey Alis, while browsing Reuters News I came across this article:
PATONG BEACH, Thailand (Reuters) - People held candles and white roses on the
tsunami-hit island of Phuket, tearfully embracing as they grieved, in a
poignant symbol of the mood which darkened New Year celebrations ...
