| Biopsy | 06 Aug 2004 15:24 GMT | 10 |
Got my liver poked today. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I think the lidocaine hurt more than the liver stick. Had some cramping afterwards but all & all, not a horrible experience. I am hoping my doctors office will send me the report so I don't have to wait till he gets back on ...

| Ribavirin Dose Reduction | 06 Aug 2004 15:05 GMT | 2 |
I read somebody's post earlier where they stated that their doc had reduced the amount of riba being taken to reduce the amount of side effects. This is a real no-no, because it significantly reduces the effectiveness of treatment. And none of us want to have to repeat this

| If I believe I found out why some progression rates are slower than others how do I prove it. | 05 Aug 2004 22:26 GMT | 19 |
I believe I found why some peoples rates of progression rates are higher than others and why some never get sick from it. How could I go about proving it. I beleve many people would have a great reductin in inflamation of

| Dehydration | 05 Aug 2004 16:29 GMT | 10 |
First off...I'm back. I stopped in 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with the HCV virus. My biopsy was a 0, my load was only 285,000 (or was it 28,500) and I didn't have any symptoms of the disease so I opted to

| over-reaction as side-effect? | 05 Aug 2004 14:53 GMT | 10 |
Everything seems to be ramped up for me right now. When things are good, I'm fine. When they're stressful (like my BF's extended family being here all day, then my BF ordering his (admittedly, a.shole of a ) brother and his family out of the house at the end.) Then my mother

| The interferon "munchies"...? | 05 Aug 2004 03:42 GMT | 12 |
Does anyone else get "the munchies" immediately after an injection? It's like being pregnant... or like I've been told it is, anyway. (Men usually don't get pregnant.) I want to eat everything in the kitchen.

| Another diet thread | 04 Aug 2004 22:17 GMT | 7 |
Over the years I've heard it said so many times in hepatitis groups that certain foods are somehow inherently bad for people with hepatitis, with the same old, tired one-size-fits-all diet recommendations. I have HCV, and for a few years also had a problem

| Not so special... | 04 Aug 2004 20:45 GMT | 2 |
I am new to this group. In 1995 I found out I had HCV, genotype 1 with a PCR number of 3 million . (Coincidentally I stopped drinking that year) At that time I researched HCV to the 9th and concluded that there was nothing that could be done that wasn't worse than the HCV(genotype ...
