Vacation07 Aug 2004 18:58 GMT8
Am taking a short time off from here again til I get over whatever put
me on an angry streak.  A number of things seem to be bothering me and
I've been reacting to them by lashing out at everyone that's crossed me
anywhere and anytime.

Hey Robin,
I lost some information on my computer last year and I can't remember
the name or the link where you can run a legal check on your doctor and
his license.
PING HC07 Aug 2004 18:02 GMT2
HC,
How's your son doing?  You haven't given us an update in a while.  I
think of him every day and hope he's safe and stays safe.  What
division is he in?  Also, I hope you're still feeling better every

High protein, low carbohydrate diets have been widely promoted in
recent years as an effective approach to losing weight. These diets
generally recommend dieters receive 30% to 50% of their total calories
HCV and HBV?07 Aug 2004 17:15 GMT15
I have a natural immunity to HBV. Still, I wonder if being exposed to it can
affect the HCV virus levels. Anybody know about that? It seems like it
could. I mean if your immune system is blasting out antibodies to fend off
HBV maybe it isn't doing as good of a job of trying to take ...
Cramps07 Aug 2004 17:15 GMT2
Recently I've been having a terrible time with cramps in the calves and
forearms. I take a potassium supplement which helps for about three hours
and then I'm right back where I started. Anyone have ANY suggestions???? I'm
tired of waking up in agony!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question07 Aug 2004 17:15 GMT9
Okay, it's week nine and the sleeplessness is kicking in.  Seems when
I lie down in bed, there's a motor going in me that won't shut off.
My question is this -- is this permanent?  Like, does it stay with you
solidly throughout treatment once it hits?  Or is it periodic?  I
Jogging In a Jug07 Aug 2004 13:39 GMT13
Anyone ever heard of this concoction?  It's a super-zap of Vitamin C plus a
couple other goodies.  I've been drinking it and my energy level is
increasing exponentially;  Recipe:
13 oz. 100% grape juice
Missing a doxe07 Aug 2004 09:09 GMT10
I was curious if anyone has missed a dose..or taken it a day or two
late?  Big outing planned a couple of weeks ago and I considered
not taking my shot until Sunday so I would feel well enough to
attend.  I didn't but I also didn't go to the event.  Just wondered
Interferon, are we just ginny pigs07 Aug 2004 08:50 GMT7
I'm new to this group so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I've had
HCV geno type 1a. I am 51 years old and I've probably had it since the late
60s early 70s when I was young and dumb and thought nothing will happen to
me. I met my wife during my first tx back when you did ...

Drama - communication and stress07 Aug 2004 04:48 GMT1
Hey Heppers!  Take it easy!  Every time I get stressed out over anything the
severity of my side effects go to extreme levels.
The emotional drama is something we just cant afford.  I nearly went insane
the first five weeks of TX fighting over who's right, who's wrong, who said
Feeling the temptation to self-medicate07 Aug 2004 01:26 GMT13
Hey Ho friends and neighbors.
I'm so fed up with my quality of life at the moment that the thought of a
nice dose of Percocet is becoming more tempting.
Constant fatigue, low finances due to disability pension, self-esteem issues
