I finally flipped23 Apr 2004 21:56 GMT14
Well I finally did it.
I went into work today to sign myself off (I've been off sick for a
week) and I got interrogated.  I felt that the interrogation was
unnecessarily intrusive and I screamed at the new manager that his

On drinking alcohol...22 Apr 2004 18:59 GMT169
Alcohol is probably considered a no-no.  I'm not talking about going
out bar-hopping, but can a person with hep-c intelligently have a
glass of wine?  Since my tastes tend to the $75 a bottle and up
category,  it is a fairly infrequent event.
anyone having these problems?22 Apr 2004 15:30 GMT12
It has been two years since I took my last peg-intron/Reb treatment.  I show no
signs of hep c and am grateful.  However, I am still saddled with severe side
effects such as joint/muscle pain (just about all over), headaches, unqunchable
thirst, sweats, brain fog just to name a few. ...
Side Effects22 Apr 2004 15:01 GMT8
I woke up this morning and thought I was going to puke on floor.  Have felt
that way all day and have had the usual "Nearly killed by Bob" aches and
pains along with it.  The freakin dragon must be getting its a.s kicked if I
feel this bad.
Shot three and blood work22 Apr 2004 14:57 GMT11
Shot three is in the morning and then its off to the doctors for my first
blood work since I started treatment.
Sleepless days and nights seem to be something that I are becoming the norm,
but I hope I can just keep dragging my SL33PY a.s along till this resolves

Hey all, and hugs to Doc, Mom, Heppiechik, Anja, Thipper, Fonzz, Russ,
Thomas, Thom, Kim, Mike, Lu Tze, Robin, Dez, Shawn, yeah the FNSC, and

Aw, CRAP21 Apr 2004 14:27 GMT5
Man, when it rains, it pours............I didn't make the clincal trial
because I have spots on my liver that could be tumors.  The MRI came back
showing multiple spots that *could* be nodules related to the HCV, but
either way, I have to have another biopsy.  Grrrrrrrr.  Everything ...

pissed off of a bridge?  It's like Descartes once said, "I piss,
therefore I am."
How more stupidly profound can you get?
Descartes needed a real life.   He never played the blues.
Hey Russ21 Apr 2004 02:23 GMT3
Play them blues tonight, good buddy!
Don't play em if it makes you feel blue, play em if it makes you feel
good!

will respond favorably to the treatment.

OT:  My Hobby before tx18 Apr 2004 20:23 GMT4
Don't know if anyone is interested, but found an old picture site of my
hobby (mountain biking) before starting this tx.  Many of the pictures
are pretty boring, the Bar-H and some of the Horny-Toad Roundup may be
interesting.  It's hard to believe a year ago I was racing and now ...
