Clarification concerning "depression"12 Mar 2004 22:02 GMT27
I feel that I would like to post to clear something up.
In the past few days I have been on an emotional roller coaster.  Some
people on the NG have expressed concerns about the possibility of me
having depression, about whether I can cope with my forthcoming tx,
quit treatment four weeks ago, blood work coming up12 Mar 2004 15:23 GMT2
I am the former Songbird, had to change because of technical
difficulties.  Had problems with netscape.net webmail.  After
successful use for three months,
I found that netscape webmail hounded me for user name and password.

It was the ribavirin I stopped for 4 weeks to allow my hg to climb from
7.2 to above 10.
My platelets have been around the 37000 mark all through treatment.
Just don't cut yourself.

Did anyone see that on PBS? It was awesome!
Hope everyone is gaining in their struggles, sorry I haven't written much,
or offered more support. Just so extremely busy that I don't have time....
Life is good again!!!

Well, I finally made it to the finish.  Did my last shot Friday and will
continue taking riba thru this coming Friday.  If I'm lucky, I won't
have to do any more of that sh.t.  How does it feel getting to the end?
Obviously, I'm happier than the puppy to be done.  On the other hand,

Relating to Russ10 Mar 2004 17:07 GMT4
Russ, your words sound like mine.
I feel fair, but I just don't want to see anyone. I don't want visitors
coming to the house, I don't want to answer the phone, I don't want to

three questions I think10 Mar 2004 01:22 GMT10
I seem to be having complications with fluxuating ALTs and would like
some advice.
I'm at my halfway point in treatment -- three months into six months
for type 2.
Hep B vaccination09 Mar 2004 20:38 GMT81
Some time ago I decided to get vaccinated against hep-a and hep-b.
Apparently, this is a good idea for people who have already got hep-c.
I just discovered a few minutes ago that the hep-b vaccination was not
succesful and they have now given me a booster.  The nurse used the

Anyone with any experience on taking this drug. I saw my doc today and told
him all the crap going on in my life. He prescribed this drug for me. It's
an antidepressant taken at bedtime. Of course none of my labs that I had
done last Friday had made it to his office. I also got my ...

It's a dark, cold rainy night in Buddsville, a nearly deserted mining
town in the old West.  The figure of a lone rider can be seen slowly
making his way into town thru the muddy street.  Doc Elmo gets off his
horse and ties her to the post in front of the cantina, then ambles up
1 & a half year for nothing?08 Mar 2004 13:19 GMT12
First it might be helpful if I told my story, I'll try to be short.  & a
half year ago I began the classical bi-therapy, Viraferon + Rebetol, they
had to stop Rebetol (Ribavirin) very quickly because my red corpuscles were
decreasing at the speed of light, they didn't try E.P.O.That ...

I just got my last refill  (weeks 45-48) of Pegasys/Copegus.  During my

thereafter, an extra vial of Pegasys showed up at the pharmacy wth my name
on it - no charge.

More Info--the Doc Just Called07 Mar 2004 17:34 GMT5
Just finished talking to the doc who is actually running this trial.  I was
wrong about heating the blood for 3 days; it takes about 6 - 7 hours under
general anesthesia and then they monitor you for 2 more days.  Typical
reactions are flu-like symptoms (we all know about those!) ...
