I have been kept waiting re my genotype and, although I have not had a
firm answer, it is looking more like a 2.
I already knew it was not a 1,5,or 6 from the first test.  This left
2,3,or 4.  The current test that I paid for privately has now ruled
For Southerners.16 Mar 2004 22:59 GMT22
What's Your "Southern" Sign? Some of us (especially Southerners) are

Genotyping and tx16 Mar 2004 12:17 GMT43

2b, but nobody wants to stick their neck out and even confirm that

treatment.  High liver panels but grade 1 stage 1 biopsy results.  I've read
that the liver impairment can lead to Diabetes.  I also have high blood
pressure probably as a result of slow weight gain over the ...

In preparation14 Mar 2004 12:38 GMT30
Talked with the pharmacy today.  Med was approved by insurance company, but
they had the wrong dosage amount, so have to re-do it.  No problem.  Trying
to get prepared and catch up on things I won't want to deal with
later....such as expired drivers license.  Teeth cleaned today, ...

Ping Cody13 Mar 2004 14:15 GMT24
Cody, I heard on the news about the terrible things that happened in Madrid
this morning. Although I beleive you do not live anywhere near that city I just
wanted to say that I hope that neither you, nor any of your family were caught
in these terrible events.
Fired for having HCV?13 Mar 2004 12:28 GMT53
Does anyone here have experience, or know anyone that does, of being
fired from their job for trumped up reasons shortly after informing
the job of your having HCV?  This happened to me recently, and I'm not
only asking for your experience but if you know of any good nationwide
Hot blood? Hot tub?13 Mar 2004 07:22 GMT11
Hey, I was reading here about someone getting their blood heated
before or during treatment. Something about heat helping to stimulate
the immune system?
I'm curious. Would sitting in a hot tub everyday have any small affect

Wanting to get started now12 Mar 2004 22:14 GMT6
I still haven't got the test result back that will enable me to start
tx.  I phoned the lab this morning and, apparently, they had to scrap
the test because something went wrong with the control experiment.
They will be re-trying tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.  The result
