I have been kept waiting re my genotype and, although I have not had a firm answer, it is looking more like a 2. I already knew it was not a 1,5,or 6 from the first test. This left 2,3,or 4. The current test that I paid for privately has now ruled

I phoned the lab yesterday where I'm having the genotype identified and they said that they don't know what genotype my virus is. Apparently, it appears to be some hybrid (their word) between 2a and 2b, but nobody wants to stick their neck out and even confirm that

Talked with the pharmacy today. Med was approved by insurance company, but they had the wrong dosage amount, so have to re-do it. No problem. Trying to get prepared and catch up on things I won't want to deal with later....such as expired drivers license. Teeth cleaned today, ...

Whew. I just got my mid-way HCV Post and I'm clean. TX ends in May. (type 2 - 24-weeks) I can relax now until the SVR test in November.
