Well, I finished my tx on 13th. Got my VL results when I saw the BCLD on the 17th. Less than 2.6 via RNA. Undetectable!! We'll see in six months, that's the true test. I feel a little better after 6 days off the meds. Like Elmo said, not much difference except the metallic

I was diagnosed nearly a years ago, but haven't been able to start treatment because the doctors keep finding other medical problems that need to be taken care of first (thyroid quit working = meds, heart problems = stent, and now type II diabetics).

They haven't said for sure whether or not I'm accepted into the trial, but I'm to have a biopsy (free of charge, courtesy of Emory University) next Wednesday. I think I'll take that as an encouraging sign. :-)

I just got a message from my nurse saying that my nuetrophil and WBC counts were 'normal' ('acceptable', I guess - since no actual numbers were stated) and that I can skip the Neupogen shot this weekend and continue on with the full-dose Pegasys as usual. YIPPIE!!!
