Liver biopsy question31 Mar 2004 19:58 GMT5
I'm scheduled to have a liver biopsy May 11 and they say I have to
spend the night as well.  That's the way it's done at he VA hospital
where I'm going.  But I'm wondering what to expect and any tips about
going through this.
Not again - pissed off and stickin my lip out31 Mar 2004 17:57 GMT4
Looks like my starting treatment could be delayed again. I was at a dinner
party at a friends house two weeks ago and managed to pick up some kind of
voodoo virus sh.t (along with three other friends) from a guy who had been
out of the country.  Why he would come to a party as sick ...
First Shot down31 Mar 2004 17:54 GMT4
Just had my first shot a few hours ago. Feeling fine but realize that
it takes up to 12 hours or more to "kick in". Hey Julie, giving myself
the shot was a piece of cake. I'm sure you will do great tomorrow.
I start the riba (800mg/day) tomorrow. Doctor sugested Tylenol PM to
Viral load baseline31 Mar 2004 11:09 GMT1
Until today, I had been told that no viral load baseline had beenm
taken from me pre-tx.  However, I have now been told that a baseline
VL was taken along with the other tests.
I will be getting the paperwork through in the next couple of days.

Much concern,

OT:  New Toy30 Mar 2004 22:52 GMT10
I picked up my new guitar today.  What a difference in sound.  It is an
Ovation "Celebrity" acoustic/electric with a natural finish top.  I've
been working on Pink Floyd's "Wishing You Were Here".  Played some
really nice guitars, but this one sounded so good with and without the ...

Susie Quill - how are you doing30 Mar 2004 12:14 GMT42
Hey Susie,
I have been thinking about you and wondered how your handling that first
shot.  Mine begin Wednesday instead of today so I will be a few days behind
you.
Bedwetting, Boogers and Heptimax30 Mar 2004 05:52 GMT8
Bedwetting - Well not bedwetting in the 'classical' sense, mind you. But
this past week - as I'm spinning in bed at night and commiting 'attempted
sleep'- I have begun to soak the sheets like 2 solid hours of a Richard
Simmons 'Sweating-to-the-Oldies' video. Anyone else ever get to ...

Hep C Stats29 Mar 2004 16:02 GMT28
I'd like to say Hello to everybody.  I've been lurking around for a
while waiting to find out about my infection with HC which was
confirmed a couple weeks ago.  I'm hoping to mount the dragon's head
on the wall real soon, though I suspect I will be in for quite a

Tazodone Is A Bust28 Mar 2004 22:22 GMT55
Ok - I can't take the spinning-on-a-rotisserie-like, lack-of-sleep nights
anymore. Ambien (10 mg.) was a waste, Restoril (7.5 mg.) failed, now the
Trazodone (100mg.) is the latest to miss the mark. Anyone have any success
with a drug (legal) that can both put you out and keep you ...

I have had Hep C from 1991 at least to now.
For the last 4 years I have had a skin rash which has been getting
progressively worse. Nothing I try helps.
I started treatment to have mercury fillings removed. part of that
