Been reading this group for a while and figured I should de-lurk and say Hi!
Back from holiday17 Feb 2004 18:50 GMT12
Hi everyone.  I've just got back from a lovely holiday in Spain.
Thanks to the rest and a lot of laughter with my friends, I now feel a
lot more ready to commence my battle with the dragon. I so badly
needed that break.  I was totally burned out and it was affecting my
How to inject procrit?17 Feb 2004 12:21 GMT1
I was supposed to use the procrit which I bought just before I quit
treatment.  Never thought to ask the doc how--my brain....  When I read
the procrit directions, all they said was call your doc.   Big help!   I
think I assumed it would be the same way as the pegasys.  Is it?  ...

Elmo, sent you an email on your webtv account, don't know if you use it
anymore or not.  To everyone else added a little blues to the DSC page,

Need info!16 Feb 2004 14:14 GMT15
I just need a little advice on how to go about taking a medical leave of
absence, just until I finish tx in May. I realize that I am making it very
stressful on my part and my coworkers. I'm also afraid of making a mistake
now and that would cause me to lose my nursing license. I ...
ADA Law16 Feb 2004 13:01 GMT18
Does anyone have any experience with the American's with Disabilities Act
at work?
I've worked 40+ hours a week, Monday thru Thursday all through tx (this is
week #40).  My boss has been pretty supportive all along - allowing me to
The half way mark16 Feb 2004 12:35 GMT3
Just did number 24, finally half way through.  That damned lizard has to
be taking a beating, I don't think I would feel this bad if there wasn't
some major lizard kicking going on.  Hope everyone has a good night and
an even better tomorrow.
I got the beast down16 Feb 2004 12:32 GMT7
Have my foot on his neck, stuck the last harpoon in him sun night. Been
spraying him with double doses of chemical weapons of mass destruction for
about a week now. I'm taking my foot off tomorrow, standing down. Please
send all the energy my way y'all can muster. He hasn't seemed ...
interesting16 Feb 2004 12:28 GMT3
I was recently watching and episode of "law and order" followed by "NYPD
Blue". Both shows had distinct references (non drug related) to Hep-C. Are
we making some inroads into public awareness?

People who have acheived SVR13 Feb 2004 14:29 GMT71
I was trying to keep track of the people that have achieved an SVR.  The
only people that I can think of right now are Lana, Geb, and hopefully
Waterspider will have hers confirmed in the next few weeks.  Also, is
anyone besides Elmo in their third round or gone three or more ...
Partner just tested positive, Guess it's both of us13 Feb 2004 14:16 GMT14
My partner has just turned up a positive test after developing porphyria 18
months ago.
Neither of us have done IV or unsafe stuff and no good doing the who's to
blame shite anyway.
Had biopsy yesterday...went pretty good10 Feb 2004 09:07 GMT9
Just wanted to give you a quick update on biopsy.  It went pretty good.
Doctor hit a rib the first time in but then got 2 good samples there after.
They went real high on the liver so I think it was the reason why I had
discomfort in breathing as there was dull pain with every ...
How to find true data?10 Feb 2004 03:20 GMT3
Here (Belgium) doctors lying.
I let them speak. They boast 80 of success with their Pegylated +
Ribavirin.
Then I ask: "But what about genotypes"?
Teen Challenge09 Feb 2004 15:17 GMT39
Sorry mom, I didn't realize that teen challenge took adults, was looking
at the name of the organization.
Have you considered that maybe one of the reasons why Katie isn't going
for Teen Challenge isn't because of the length of time, but maybe
