Some in the group mention that they are on two types of drops; Xalatan and Timolol.
When I about a year ago was diagnosed I was put on Xalatan but at a follow up after 8-9 months
the doctor said she wanted to bring my pressure down a bit more and I got Xalcom.

I am 53 and have been diagnosed with the above. My doctor asked if I was
allergic to sulphur as he put me on something called Xalatan!! for the rest
of my life. When I drop it in my eye I can taste it my wife does not believe

I have had 4 retinal detachments and the last one they used silicone
oil instead of gas. They were not able to get it all out and it it is
causing my pressure to go very high.They are not sure if they go back
in they can get all out. Anyone been through this type of problem?

i have been using lumigan for abt a yr.   i have had dry eyes in the
past but now i cant open my eyes in the morning until after i have
eaten breakfast.  i think the chewing motion causes my eyes to water
and then i can open my eyes. i literally fix breakfast with my eyes

I have been taking timolol and xalatan for about two weeks now. I was
taking alphagan with it but stopped a few days ago. I was on the
alphagan about a month before i went on these other drops. Has anyone
had any experience with these drops? I have been feeling

My doctor is switching me from Xalatan to Lumigan. I'm currently finishing off
the remainder of my Xalatan before switching. Has anyone already made this
switch, and is there anything I should watch for? I've had a look at the
enclosed info sheet, and the side effects look a lot ...

My pharmacy is OUT of my Rescula drops I use in the am , I use xalatan
in the pm - Question --I have Alphgan P here that was used for the
cataract surgery eye in the first week after surgery --can I use the
alphagan P . in place of my Rescula in the am until I get my

I am taking alphagan,timolol and xalatan for a short time now and have
been feeling nauseous,dry mouth,tired and my whole body has been
itchy. It feels like pin and needles. I also have been experiencing a
strange feeling in my genital area. Has anyone had urinary problems on

I have a question. There is a common test for IOP where pressure is
monitored as water enters the bloodstream.
Does body weight affect how much water should be administered?
Also: Does body position (sitting, lying down, and so on) have any

I had my cataract surgery 3 weeks ago and my IOP went from 18-23--to 13
!! That was a nice plus --Plus I can see so well !!   ( with the rt -eye
) Surgery on the other eye next month .  The world sure is nasty with
the un-operated on eye -I never knew until I had the surgery ; )
