I just read the contraindications on Xanax and glaucoma is among them. Since it takes me two to three years to use up a bottle of 30 pills, 0.25mg, I don't think I have to worry. Right? Angelika

Does spending a lot of time in front of a computer monitor have any effect on causing glaucoma?

| sudden onset, one eye | 01 Oct 2003 02:10 GMT | 3 |
I have been taking .5% Timolol for years with pressure nevertheless around 25. No visible optic nerve damage, excellent field of vision (Humphrey machine I think it is). A month ago I realized in a movie theater that my vision in the right eye was dimmer and less clear than my left.

| Long time treatment with drops only | 01 Oct 2003 02:04 GMT | 5 |
As I read this forum I get a little fearful. I have recently been diagnosed with glaucoma, and use drops. How long might that work? Does everyone eventually have to have operations? How long have any of you used drops only?
