Eye Drops & Pulmonary Problems01 Nov 2003 00:50 GMT2
Was it here that someone recently posted a link to a British Medical
Journal article about glaucoma eye drops and chronic pulmonary problems?
If so, could you please post the link again?

Any progress on research to support forskolin in treatment of glaucoma?
If anybody has any contacts at universities, drug companies, or med

Xanax20 Oct 2003 06:55 GMT4
I just read the contraindications on Xanax and glaucoma is among them.
Since it takes me two to three years to use up a bottle of 30 pills,
0.25mg, I don't think I have to worry. Right?

Cataracts and Glaucoma18 Oct 2003 01:58 GMT10
I had a check up Friday and I'm glad to say that my IOP was back to 14
(it had gone up slightly about a month ago to 15), which is good. But I
needed a new prescription for my glasses since my eye sight has
worsened. It's been getting worse for a while so it's nice to have new
Eyedrops don't work well15 Oct 2003 08:39 GMT7
I'm 59 now and I got my first eyedrops more than 3 years ago, when my IOP
was measured between 24 en 27. I started with Timoptol (timolol), but it
didn't get the pressure much lower. Afterwards I tried different other
drops, like Alphagan, Xalatan, Cosopt and I must have forgotten ...
Am I paranoid or is this possible?14 Oct 2003 23:52 GMT4
Is it possible for an eye doctor, when coming in for a routine eye
check, to intentionally prescribe skewed and manipulated numbers to
see what happens to the eye pressure a year later on the next checkup?
This in a effort to learn more about the relation of prescription

Computing and Glaucoma03 Oct 2003 04:19 GMT5
Does spending a lot of time in front of a computer monitor have any effect
on causing glaucoma?
sudden onset, one eye01 Oct 2003 02:10 GMT3
I have been taking .5% Timolol for years with pressure nevertheless around
25. No visible optic nerve damage, excellent field of vision (Humphrey
machine I think it is). A month ago I realized in a movie theater that my
vision in the right eye was dimmer and less clear than my left.
Long time treatment with drops only01 Oct 2003 02:04 GMT5
As I read this forum I get a little fearful.  I have recently been
diagnosed with glaucoma, and use drops. How long might that work?  Does
everyone eventually have to have operations? How long have any of you
used drops only?
