Hi, I've had ep forever.  I had West's syndrome as a baby and have
been left with many different epilepsies and ataxia. My ep is not
controlled and I have been told it probably never will be.  Just
thought I'd say hi to you all.

I have been on 800 mg of Tegretol and after 50 days free of seizures, they
came back on saturday. Then, as planned with my doctor, I increased the
dosage to 900 mg. Yet, they are still here. Last night I gave a lecture at

I am new to the group. I am 47, was diagnosed with seizures in November and
put on Tegretol. Now I am taking 800 mg per day.
It does seem to take care of the seizures, but I have some side effects that
concern me.

Hi y'all
My personal experience tells me that drinking 2 or so liters of water each
day reduces the symptoms of epilepsy. For me it is *clearly* the next best
thing to medication. Given that the body is 70-80% water it's understandable

I am also new to this group.  I appreciate this forum and any insight
you all may provide.  I also have questions about side effects of
medication.
I am 32, and I was epileptic as a child.  I had my first seizure at 3
