I'm a 45 yo male, and I've been on 800mg Carbatrol/day for about 7 years... Just heard about bone mineral density decline with long-term Carbatrol use. Has anybody else heard about this? Experience with it? Solutions (Fosamax?)

The term "Deja vu" is one that I have frequently heard mentioned associated with seizures in this newsgroup and on epilepsy message boards. I've never seen anyone explain what they meant by the use of that term though and its dictionary definition doesn't agree with the feelings ...

My daughter is 6 years old and started having seizures at 4 months. We went through all the drugs and are currently on Keppra and the Ketogenic diet. Our Neurologist told us Thursday that the blood test showed a mutated gene which was the last marker for Angelman syndrome.

Hi yes I have had major problems with memory expesially after a seizure. Recentley I have had a temporal lobe seizure and have virturally forgoton the major events of the last six months including my mothers death. It slowly comes back but i feel a deja vu feeling
