I've been diagnosed w/ epilepsy for the last 6 years. My seizure are somewhat controlled, as I don't get any complex partials but still get a host of smaller ones, espesically areas in sound. Anyways whenever I am in big groups or in restaurants with co-workers

Does anyone know about the surgeries that are supposed to control seizures? Has anyone had a successful/positive experience with surgery? My 8 year old son recently began experiencing severe epilepsy and his neurologist has seriously been considering surgery as a viable option

I have just started taking lamotrigine and have also noticed that I have a sore throat. It may be a coincidince but I just put the two together and thought it might be a reaction to the drug. Has anyone else gotten a sore throat when starting the drug lamotrigine?
