I've been on Depakote since 97.  For the past 8 years I've noticed that
if I missed more than 2 doses that I would get a headache and it would
go away after 24 hours.  Starting up would have similar results.

My doctor changed me from Tergetol to Nueronton trying to get better seizure
control. So far it's worked, I do have less side effects and way less
seizures, but I have more times where I get 'lost in thought' . It's not
absence seizures, I just get lost in day dreams for a while. ...

I am being switched from Dilantin to Lamotrigine...
Has anyone had experience with this medication.
I have grands at least twice a month and partials (petites), or small
seizures two or three times a week and the dilantin and topiramate are

hi, my mom has been getting seizures about once, twice a month, since,
3-4 years ago. she's 63. 2 days ago, was my first experience seeing
her seizure. it was scary for me, i was somewhat 'angry' at 'above',
how could this happen to a wonderful lady like her.

My 21 yr.old son had I grand mal seizure when he was 16 yrs.old. He's had
none since then, on Trileptal. His EEG is normal. His Dr. is taking him off
his medication, and I can't help but be afraid. He's almost completely off
now. He drives, and I worry so much.

Has anybody had/considered having surgery to stop their epilepsy? My
specialist has suggested it but I'm in two minds whether to have it.

good afternoon all i see blue spots all the time ive recently been
trying to stop smoking pot my neurologist told me it causes them  and
ive had so much surgery that the high isnt good any more its scary but
old habits are hard to quit i think because it has begun to scare me i

Has anyone here ever used the stop smoking aids (e.g. nicoderm)?   I really
need to quit smoking but I can't do it alone.  I've looked at all the
different aids on the shelves and it seems Commit is the only one that does
not give any warning about seizures.
