I noticed all my postings in this group as I was reloading my newsgroups.
The people in this group have been very kind and beneficial to me.

It may be Epilepsy Aware month in November but really I have not seen and
adds or anything on the tv to suggest it, it proves to me that they only
care about Cancer, TB, etc. and Not what I have or what we have Epilepsy.
It makes me MAD!,

Is anyone on trileptal? If so , what side effects have you noticed bad and
good? Do this one have a reputation(sp?) of being good or bad?
sorry I am so full of questions.I have read all the sheets on it but i'm
interested in personal feelings.

About a year and bit ago I was diagnosed with both grand and petit mal
seizures. In the past couple of months my whole body shakes(according
to my gf) at 6:3ish most day. The reason she has noticed is probably
due to the time change. She was usually out of the house before 7:3x.

Has anybody experienced these kind of symptoms before?
1. When I'm driving on the freeway at night I start getting really
dizzy and get a really bad headache. It has to do with the incoming
headlight cars and the redlights in front of me. I have to really

Did it again
I felt like putting in lord of the rings dvd, it was night time, and I like
the theatre atmosphere of no other lights on, so only the TV and no lamp.

I was diagnosed last week with  focal seizures. I was put on
Trileptal, and haven't had a seizure since. I live in New York, on
Long Island, and was told by my doctor that I'm not allowed to drive
until I'm seizure free for a year.

The other night, I was praciticing martial arts when I fell and
twisted my ankle.  It was rather excruciating - thought I had broken
it.  I layed on the floor for about 5 min. before attempting to get
up.

My doctor is switching me from Dilantin to Trileptal.  I just started

To anyone out there reading this.  I just received a letter stating
where my insurance will cover my daily intake of Tegretol but at a
higher co-payment, but has stated that they will cover me at a lower
co-payment should I switch to Tegretol XR.  So, what is the difference
