Flour, sugar, and seizures07 Oct 2004 09:20 GMT28
Does anyone have any non-biased links on the subject of flour/sugars impact
on seizures?  The hits I got on google all seemed to involve a health food
store or doctor trying to sell his book.  Personally I see a connection
between overeating foods rich in refined flour/sugar (such ...

Just curious if others are "cured with medication" or just
Inherited04 Oct 2004 23:33 GMT6
Can seizures be inherited and if they can what types of seizures are this
more likely to happen with. My 7 year old son is describing petit mal
seizures to my ex. Needless to say she ticked off at me.
seizure descriptions04 Oct 2004 23:25 GMT4
I tried to describe some of my seizures, other than the Grand Mal, to my
Neuro. I told him the best way to describe some of them was as if I was
taking 10/20 deep breaths and then holding my breath.
Or, as I told him, when I was a hippie from the 60's (only missing the
SSI and the System04 Oct 2004 20:38 GMT55
Well phase two done.
The "second" denial from SSI came thru today. From what the denial
letter said, I understand, from what the letter stated, I am still able
to take care of my "personal needs" and "follow simple directions" so I
"Gagging" and Sleep Apnoea?03 Oct 2004 23:54 GMT3
I've woken up a few times recently after dreaming that I've been
trying to swallow a spoon. On waking, I've been "gagging", with a
terrific feeling of nausea.
If you've ever had a medical examination and the doctor has used a

Once in a while, such as when Im working on the computer at night, I will
put on my headphones and turn winamp on to listen to my mp3s. I dont blast

First Time Seizure02 Oct 2004 07:58 GMT28
I am a 41 year old woman, who had her first seizure 3 weeks ago.  I'm soooo
glad I found this site!  I've read a lot of the postings.  Needless to say
I'm still upset and confused about this.
I was at work, and fortunately there were EMT co-workers on site.  I don't
New seizures part 202 Oct 2004 01:12 GMT5
I posted here a few days ago regarding my wife's seizures. The CT scan,
blood work, and EEG all came back "normal". The only thing that was nearly
slightly "low" was calcium. I know that hypocalcaemia can cause seizures but
she was just at the bottom end of the reference range.
