My son Andy has been having seizures for about 2 years. He is 16 and it's tough enough being 16 let alone dealing with this..Do me a favor if there any other teenagers out there going through the same thing let me know so he could e-mail you and maybe help him deal with this.

Does the condition 'Epilepsy' derive from the word 'Episode'? My physician prefers to use the latter term, until more information comes in. Thanks.

I was just at an appointment with my neurologist on Wednesday. I had a bunch of tests run in April, but he doesn't have the results yet. But he did tell me if they turned out like the ones I had run in December, then he would want to skip all medications and have me get a VNS.
