Lamictal29 Apr 2004 20:06 GMT5
Has anyone had any experience with lamictal? As some of you know I am
on depakote and tegretol. I have heard some very positive things about
lamictal and am wondering if anyone has switched from
tegretol/depakote combo to this drug. If so, I'd be interested in
Newbie with a Question (or two)29 Apr 2004 02:39 GMT9
I was hoping that some of you might shed some light on some questions
that I have.
First - a bit of background.  My husband was diagnosed with epilepsy
3.5 years ago.  Prior to that he had several "fainting" incidents over

My first PC game!27 Apr 2004 22:29 GMT5
In many years of computing, I have never been into PC games, preferring
to write programs, so every time I upgraded my PC I always deleted the
games file (and renamed the machine from that silly "My Computer").
But there was one game I couldn't resist buying, it arrived this

Sequel to "Tonight's Experiences" thread I started24 Apr 2004 04:27 GMT32
Sorry.  I should have gotten back to you all.  Nothing wound up
happening, except lack of sleep from fear of something happening.  Sorry
to keep you all waiting.  School restarted for me on Monday and I had
been too tired to check e-mails and post here.  School wipes me out both

The News From My Neurologist22 Apr 2004 16:47 GMT31
I went to see my neurologist Wednesday.  I found out my 48-hr EEG I had
run in December turned out to be very abnormal and he was freaked at
hearing about what happened in January.  He told me that he is beginning
to believe that medication may not be able to control my seizures any
Driving22 Apr 2004 02:54 GMT9
I am worried that my driver's license might be lifted.  I have visual
disturbances about three times a year, where I lose half my vision for about 20
minutes.  I am on Keppra for seizures (it isn't working).  Does having seiqures
automatically mean you lose your license?
Natural Electro-Shock Therapy (EST)21 Apr 2004 20:45 GMT12
It occurred to me that the inspiration for the development for Electro-Shock
Therapy (EST) derived from observations of the after effects of Seizures -
events which have a definite electrical component.  Minds so utterly
constricted by past events became almost miraculously ...

Question On Tonight's Experiences17 Apr 2004 05:57 GMT36
I just want some opinions on what you all think is going on; I know none
of you (but Bob) is a doctor.
Earlier, I first started having this off (feeling mentally like I was
there and also not there at the same time.  hard to explain) feeling and
