My mother in law has been battling epilepsy for 30 years or more. She is now
70. She isn't on any meds and usually functions very well. On Christmas Eve
she wasn't feeling well and we all put it down as being a virus but
afterwards she informed us that she had no memory of any of ...

Another question about photo-sensitivity, this time LCDs25 Feb 2004 19:16 GMT6
Sorry for asking another question in spite of the fact that I don't suffer
from epilepsy. I appreciate the help given last time and I figure
individuals posting here have experience with these issues. For my part I
have pretty bad anxiety, so that's why I worry about things like
Do you know what your triggers are???25 Feb 2004 03:02 GMT52
I am interested to hear what triggers others have found for their seizures
and form a list of things that we can all watch out for.
For me personally, my triggers are....

What To Do23 Feb 2004 03:09 GMT2
Does anyone have any insight on what to do if someone is having a
seizure?  I am trying to compile a list for my family (since they
basically know nothing about them) so they will be well aware.
My list this far (not in any real order yet):
Witnessing a seizure22 Feb 2004 03:46 GMT3
There's been several items lately that have mentioned witnessing a seizure
(fit, twirly whirlies, or whatever yours are called). It's nearly thirty
years since I had my first 'event', at the age of 15; however; in all that
time I have never actually witnessed someone having one!
Partial focal seizures22 Feb 2004 03:40 GMT3
Has anyone had focal seizures centered within a brain lesion triggered by
lying down at night and/or aggrevated by exercise?
I have seizures involving intense tingling/burning sensation on right side
that is aggrevated by prolonged exercise or weight lifting and triggered by

THE SUNSET UNSEEN
The Sun sets in a blaze of orange and red
But the speeding train moves through a grove of trees
And the flicker of light

I have been wound up all day about this: now I am all prepared. I even
have my notes written down on a piece of paper - how I am fed up with
