Our 5 year old daughter had an EEG today.  She has been having episodes of
"Spacing out" and tongue chewing for about a month now.  Her pediatrician

After finding out about the dangerous of Fenobarbital i had to post
something to this newsgroup.
What i found out is Fenobarbital is bound to cause trouble even in later
life. Toxicomania (drugs/alcohol) is one of the side-effects though i

I have a relative who needs to be weaned off Tegretol and I'd like to know how quickly and in what decrements can the weaning be done safely?
Also, how quickly should it be done in cases when Tegretol causes agranulocytosis (granulocytopenia)? Say, if the total WBC were normal, ...

my history is as follows:
current age: 49, male
First seizure was a grand mal when I was 15, had many grand mal
seizures thereafter until I was 25, when it somehow went away. During

Have any of you ever been told that your EEG reading was "tight". What
does that mean?
