Has anyone had similar problems, or advice please. I've been on Phenytoin due to epilepsy for around 25yrs +, and have had reasonable results with it, but in the last couple of years I've developed liver disease.

my doc switched me from dilantin to tegretol about 5 months ago. since then i've been having way more little seizures. i wanna go back on dilantin. anyone else have any bad experiences with tegretol? phil

My wife is considering having some facial hair removed by electrolysis but because of her epilepsy, the beautician will only do this if her doctor supplies a written go-ahead. All her doctor will say is that he is not an expert so cannot give guidance.

Exactly one year ago I was in the hospital having brain surgeries, on Aug. 1st I'll be seizure free for one year. Doesn't seem possible, I think I've knocked on wood everyday that I've let myself say, "I didn't have a seizure since my surgery." I'm afraid I'll jinx it I guess.
