Just got a paper from my now new Drs. clinic telling me it is time to get my cholesterol tested and that it should be done every one to five years. If I remember correctly, I had it done back in Oct. of last year but they don't know this.

I am a Type II diabetic, taking Actos, Metformin, Glypizide and Byetta. I am considering, at the suggestion of a new doctor, about switching to a long-acting insulin to be taken at night. Has anyone made the switch and could you offer your experience?
