So let me be the first to fess up on thanksgiving dinner. There was a lot of food but I had no problem. Byetta keeps the appetite at bay but doesnt stop the desire for desserts. I hada slice of pumpkin cheesecake and a slice of chocolate babka, a russian coffee cafe.

Are diabetics treated with a different formula if they are rescued by ambulance or at the hospital. They normally start an IV of D5W to give you energy and hydration. Would a diabetic have a problem with D5W? I understand it's a carbohydrate to sugar to energy process.
